ENGAGED!!!!!

I am engaged!!! I am soo happy! I am engaged to the love of my life!!! He is seriously my other half! He completes me! I am soo happy when we are together! It is the best feeling! Joe and I met last September at the BYU-I cafeteria. He was a student cook and I was stocking drinks and helping out at front. He thought I was rather cool (obviously..I am Canadian lol) so he invited me to a bonfire...and the rest is history!! Here is the engagement story:
Last week was spring break for the elementary schools around here. Joe's parents graciously got me a plane ticket out to visit for that time. I could not wait to see my amazing, handsome, fabulous boyfriend again! He seriously is sooooo soo amazing! So I arrived Saturday, March 13th at night. He met me at the airport and his parents were there to say hi. After, Joe and I went to PF Changs. It is a very tasty restaurant. We ordered a meal together and then Joe got up to "go to the restroom" (he was actually talking to the manager about the next event). Next thing I know two fortune cookies came out...they are apparantly both for me. So I started eating my fortune cookies...my thing is you eat the cookie before you can read the fortune. I was so stuffed that I gave up eating and starting reading. This slip of paper talked about how Joe loved me and how amazing I was. Then the other fortune cookie had a similar slip saying some things he loved about me. It was ADORABLE!!!
We left the restaurant and went to his house for a quick second before we went for a walk. Joe started talking about how today was 6 months after the day we met. He asked me if I remembered what we did and I told him we went to the park! Good thing I remembered lol! We were walking to the park near his house. He started talking about why he loved me...it was super cute! It had been raining, so when we started walking through the park it was so wet and gross lol Silly thing is that I had flip flops on! There was a gazebo there so we went inside to sit. The benches were wet so I quickly sat on his lap. This didn't help what he wanted to do next.
He smoothly told me that we should continue walking and I got up turned around and there he was on his knee!!!! Out of his mouth he asked me to marry him!! Obviously I said yes and we had the biggest hug!!!!!! I was sooo sooo sooo happy! I couldn't stop grinning! He did a great job! It was perfect! It was so cute!
The big day is July 30th in the Toronto Temple! The following weekend we will go to NC for a reception! There's a lot to do..but I can't wait for that day to be sealed to my best friend and the man I love sooo very much!!!!
