Christmas 2011!

For Christmas this year we went to North Carolina and visited Joe's family!  It was a great visited and we definitely enjoyed our time there!  We were on the go a lot, but I planned on it being the way! :)

We left Wednesday the 21st right after I got out of teaching.  There was a snow storm that day, so we hit some nasty roads!  We even had a vehicle spin in front of us...very scary!  Our flight left after 11 that night and we got in around 10 the next morning into Raleigh, NC.  We had a lay over in NYC.  I so wish we could've went out and explored NYC!  We were greeted at the airport by Joe's parents!  It was definitely great to see them!

We stayed in North Carolina for a week!  It was a great week of Christmas, Christmas lights, family, food, and shopping! :)  Here are some pictures from our trip!

So green for the winter!  I enjoy :)

Heading to the mountains!

We kept the Chinese food on Christmas eve tradition!

Christmas day photos!

We went to a light display!

Only in the south can they have a restaurant for biscuits!  They are delicious too, so we had to indulge while we were there!

With Joe's cousin and his wife!

This is the dancer dude that is well known in Joe's hometown!

Heading home..
Thanks for EVERYTHING Mom and Dad Wilde and all the other family that we got to spend time with!  Also, thank you for the wonderful present from Mom and Dad Musson!

Wow looks like you had a wonderful trip. I can't believe how green it was. And that sunshine must have been wonderful to have. Well now it is back to the cold Rexburg weather. Thanks for posting.
