This weekend we had General Conference. It is a broadcast from Salt Lake City, Utah, where the leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints speak to us. There is always so much that is learned. We learned more about families, marriages, serving, the churches welfare system, being and doing, and A LOT more! We have this broadcast twice a year and I always love it! They have posted videos of all the talks and on Thursday will post the written scripts, so we can read them. You can find all of that here.
I still have another week left of my Spring Break! It is crazy how I planned on getting more done, but there still is never enough time in a day! I guess that is life! :) I'll just get use to it haha! We have started getting some spring weather, so I am happy! Friday was the BEST day! On our car temperature "thingy" it got up to 60 degrees (Fahrenheit....haha)! It was fabulous!! I went for a jog, which I loved! Saturday ended up being extremely windy....the broadcast for General Conference kept dropping...it was really that strong!! I am hoping this week will be good...better than what they are planning on!!
ALSO....
TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY (or today depending when you look at this haha)!!!!! I told Joe I wanted him to make me dinner :)! I prefer that over eating out (maybe I'm crazy? hahah)! I am soo excited! I will hopefully take pictures and post them for you all! It will be great being together for my birthday! Sadly we weren't last year...Joe came a few days after though, which I loved!!
