GETTING MY MASTERS!!!
I always thought I would get my bachelors and that was it!

I thought there would be no point in getting a masters. I then found a job this past year where the teacher/principal I worked with was finishing her masters and there was another teacher that had her masters. It got my mind thinking. With a masters I will grow and learn more, get paid more, and have another way to "sell myself" when looking for a job. Why would I not want to start a masters program? I thought I would start next March.
I then got an email from scholastic about this school called American College of Education. They were offering a grant for one class paid. I thought that i might as well mind out more information. Last week I got a phone call from the school. I found out more about the school.....an 18 month program, completely online, you take one class at a time, there are teachers all over the USA doing the same thing, they are a school only for educators wanting a masters, AND to get my masters it'll only be around $7,000!!! That is amazing! So I did my research and saw so many rave reviews. Lots of happy teachers! Yesterday, I talked to that same lady (she's super fun, which is always great!) and told her I'd like to sign up!
One of the best things is that Joe is SOO supportive of me getting my masters. He has encouraged me to go for it! This will be even more helpful once I start! I am so excited to get my masters done, since I know once I have kids it will probably not happen! I start June 6th....soon :D
