Once upon a time, well this past Saturday, Joe and Vanessa went floating down the river with a group of Young Single Adults. It was the perfect day, sunny, warm weather, and lots of people! Everyone started putting on sunscreen, but Joe and Vanessa thought they would be fine (Vanessa learned best from her mom)!
They entered the river on a raft and floated along! They had a few others in their raft and enjoyed the day! There was lots of talking, laughing, and sun.... Yes, lots of sun!
After the about 2 hours floating, Vanessa and Joe arrived at land with the Young Single Adults. They enjoyed a delicious lunch of bbq'd beef and pulled pork, with potato salad, garden salad, and chips! They were outside enjoying the sun! Vanessa could feel warmth on her back and shoulders. Yes, a possible small sunburn, but she'd be just fine!
Joe and Vanessa arrive home later and look in the mirror....Vanessa was totally red and white, and Joe was red instead of brownish (like he usually gets). They felt sore, but tried to ignore it.
Soon they had enough and drove to Walmart for aloe vera. They have been applying it ever since! It is starting to cool down more today...THANKFULLY!
Lesson learned: wear sunscreen, especially on water!
(And no this was not us :P hahaha)

Hey that is not fair, you can't blame me for you not putting on sunscreen. Just because I'm not smart enough to do it doesn't mean you have to me. hahahahahahahahaha And I'm disappointed. I wanted to see pictures. I just hope that a lesson was learned from this. NEVER go near the water without sunscreen. Oh and I would have thought you had remembered the camping and floating on the mattress at the pond to get lots of sun before we left to go home. (Do you remember that one?)
was it the quarry? yes I remember that hahah! I told Joe about it hahaha
