Author Signing

Joe has been reading a book series (Wheel of Time) for a long time now! Unfortunately, a few years a go the original author passed away. Because of the huge fan base and the series not being complete, that authors wife asked another author to finish the book series. The original author had very in depth notes that would allow this to happen!  The author that was asked to finish the series was Brandon Sanderson.  Because of his new involvement in completing the series, Joe gained interest in this author, so decided to read some of his other books!  He has now become one of Joe's favorite authors!
Recently another book in the Wheel of Time series has come out, so Brandon Sanderson and going around the USA (he even went to France) doing author signings!  We were lucky enough to have him come to Idaho Falls!  Joe took three of his books to get signed (and we got two others signed for Dad Wilde!)  It was a long line up ....

This picture does not do justice at all!  We stood in the line for about an hour and a half!!  His books are not light either....my arms were definitely getting sore, which eventually made me set the books down :)!

ALMOST THERE!!!

Joe was able to ask him a couple questions about Wheel of Time and I made sure I did my wife duty of taking picture :)

It is neat because he personalizes every book....he writes your name...really takes time for his fans!

Joe and Brandon Sanderson

It was fun for us to go and meet this author!  We have had a lot of fun adventures together and hope for them to continue!
