Mozzarella Sticks!!!

I found a recipe for Mozzarella Sticks at Kaitlin in the Kitchen. They sounded delish! Joe is a BIG fan of mozzarella sticks, so I thought it would be fun to try homemade ones for him! They turned out good AMAZING!! Joe even LOVED them!! YAY! Here is the recipe.

You will need:
Ingredients:
1 Package String Cheese (We used only 8 full string cheese so we used a little less of the ingredients)
1 1/2 Cups Italian Seasoned Breadcrumbs
1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
2 Eggs, beaten
2 Cups Vegetable Oil (I used Canola, so whatever oil you have!)
Parmesan Cheese & Parsley, for garnish
Marinara, to serve

First cut each string cheese in half.

Then put your flour, eggs, and the breadcrumbs in three separate bowls.

One at a time, coat the cheese strings in this order: flour, eggs, and then breadcrumbs. This can get a little messy!

Set them on a tin foil lined pan and put them in the freezer for 15-20 minutes. Don't mind the overfull freezer haha!

Heat up oil in a pan. Use tongs to carefully pick up each mozzarella stick and place them in the oil. Flip them over when the one side browns to brown the other side. Once both sides are brown and cheese maybe oozing out, take the mozzarella sticks out and place them on a paper towel covered plate to dry off the oil.

Garnish the mozzarella sticks with Parmesan Cheese and parsley (it just makes it look cute!!) Serve it with your favorite dipping sauce - we prefer marinara sauce!

Don't they look amazing?
