I told you in my post YESTERDAY that I would share with you the special thing my AMAZING husband did!! Friday...or maybe Thursday he said, "I have been thinking. I think that I should make dinner every Sunday!" Where did this guy come from? Honestly, when he said that I was soo excited! He works as a cook, but doesn't get to cook very often (he works until 6:30, so I make dinner!)! I was more than happy to allow him to take over the kitchen!
He likes to SURPRISE me, so he wouldn't tell me what he was making. All I could do was stay in the living room and smell all the smells that were coming from it! I could not wait for dinner!
FINALLY he said it was ready!! I anxiously went to the kitchen! He had made a recipe called kickin' chicken and he made candied almonds to go on our salad!!! YUMMY!!! It seriously all turned out great! I kept and keep eating the candied almonds like a snack food! They are dang good!!

He had told me before he had a dessert planned too! We ended up baking them together! He had made batter for chocolate chip cookies! YUMMY!! So we baked them after dinner! They turned out delicious too!
I really am one LUCKY wife! I have found the most PERFECT guy! He does everything he can to make me feel SPECIAL and LOVED!! He does such a good job at that too!! This coming weekend will be 6 months married! Yes it isn't that long...but it really goes soo quickly! I have loved every minute and cannot wait for many more fun times!!!

Wow! Good job Joe. It looks so good. You are very lucky Vanessa to have such a great guy, but he is just as lucky to have you. You make a cute couple.
