Today, I had work off for President's Day. Sadly Joe did not, but he doesn't work until 2:30....so we had the morning together! We decided to do something fun...I planned it last week!
The Museum of Idaho in Idaho Falls has recently brought Bodies: The Exhibition to it! It is a exhibit of the human body using real bodies. They get these humans from China and they all have died of natural causes. When we heard that this was coming to Idaho Falls we were super excited! With Joe going into nursing this was right up his field!
Today (and a couple other days last week and the week before) the museum had an educator's preview to allow us teachers to check it out! Joe and I attended and LOVED it!!! Models of the human body do not show what a real human body does! They had sooo many body parts and full bodies! They even had the development of a fetus! We are totally going to go again (maybe twice more :P) once it is open (the end of this week to the beginning of September)! I would strongly suggest you to go!!
