Coconut Chocolate Rice Krispies!

Joe and I were wanting Rice Krispies with Coconut and Chocolate Chips.  We couldn't find a RECIPE for it so we just invented one ourselves!  It was so much FUN to make a recipe together!!  The Rice Krispies turned out YUMMY, but we did make a tiny mistake so it wasn't exactly what we had expected.  We added the chocolate chips too soon...so if you want whole chocolate chips wait until you have put in EVERYTHING!  Here is the recipe!

Ingredients:
1/4 cup of butter
5 cups rice krispies
1 package (10 oz) of large marshmallows
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup chocolate chips (we used milk chocolate)

Recipe:
Melt 1/4 cups of BUTTER in a pot over medium-low heat!

Add package of Marshmallows!
Joe told me this had to be added...oh no :P haha

Mix until melted completed!

Add 5 cups of RICE KRISPIES to the melted marshmallows and QUICKLY stir!

**This is where we made the mistake...if you want whole chunks of chocolate chips add them right before you put the rice krispies in a pan - if you want marbled chocolate rice krispies follow these instructions that we did (they are definitely chocolatey!)**  Add 1/2 a cup of CHOCOLATE CHIPS!  Stir until melted.  Then add 1/2 a cup of coconut!  Stir until blended!

Add rice krispies to a GREASED 9x13 pan!  Use a spoon with BUTTER on it to flatten the rice krispies!  Let sit until they are hardened!

Then cut and ENJOY :)

P.S. 22 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!  (I am excited to see my parents that day too :D!)
